Fandom (Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Divergent, and Harry Potter) Necklace: Merchandise Review!


Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to do another merchandise review. This time I'll be reviewing my Fandom Necklace that I bought from Amazon. I bought this a while ago, but I will go into more detail on that later. But enough about that, let's get onto the review!



The Fandom Necklace is called such because rather than just displaying your enthusiasm for one particular book series, it contains the symbols of five book series. You have the trident at the top for the Percy Jackson series. The mockingjay to the left is from the Hunger Games series. The flame on the right is from the Divergent Series. The angelic rune on the bottom is from the Mortal Instruments series. Last but not least, the deathly hollows in the center of the necklace is that of the Harry Potter series.

The necklace come in both gold and silver, and I chose the silver one for personal reasons. Aesthetically, I enjoy silver jewelry over gold, but I admit there are merits to both. The necklace comes with a black cord chain that allows about an inch and a half of re-sizing. Laid out, the chain is about the chain is about twenty inches. I found that length comfortable for me.

As for the quality of the necklace, I was quite impressed. I didn't pay much for the piece, and I wasn't expecting much. However, my silver pendent hasn't tarnished the six months I've had it. Also, I tried to bend it with my hands to see if it were malleable, but it stayed firm. Its quality is quite superb for its price.

Let's get down to it. If you love these fandoms and have seven bucks to spend, I would definitely recommend this necklace. Stories I Ate This Month: February 2018

Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm here to review all of the stories that I consumed this month. Yes, this post is over a month late, but I have plenty of excuses. One: I am exhausted. Two: being an intern is tough. Three: trying to live a normal life is much more difficult than I imagined. So, here I am. I'm late to the game. But I'm very excited to show you what I've read for the month. I hope you enjoy this post! The first two books that I finished this month are The Madness Underneath and The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson. These two books are the "final" books in the Shades of London series. I say "final" but there has been some speculation that the series has not yet been completed, which I tend to agree with. There are a lot of plot lines that haven't been concluded, and there's a new antagonist introduced in The Shadow Cabinet , and the book basically leaves off with a cliffhanger. Stories I Ate This Month: March 2018

So this month has been a bit of a bust. I haven’t read many book or watched that many movies, but the show must go on. Also, as a side note, I haven’t finished any season of any particular television shows this month, but I’ve started a few promising ones that will hopefully be completed in April. But anyway, here’s all the books and movies I’ve conquered this month. The first two books I read this month are The Hanging Tree and Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch. These books are the 5 th and 6 th book in his Peter Grant series which feature Detective, you guessed it, Peter Grant as he investigates criminal matters in London with a tendency for the supernatural. If you haven’t read my review about the other books of this series, I’ll reiterate. Ben Aaronovitch combines everything that I love within his novels, and does it in such a fashion that you can feel the commitment to his craft with every paragraph. His expertise with the London area and the unordinary is clearly visible
