Allegiant Trailer Reaction!



Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm here to react to the new Allegiant trailer! With the news of the name change for the last movie and the first trailer coming out, there has been a lot of buzz for Allegiant going around. Why not add to that with a little trailer reaction? Let's get to it!


Alright, so the first part of the trailer is a recap for the first movie. I feel a little jipped, but I'll accept what's happening.

Now I'm almost halfway through the trailer, and I haven't seen any new footage. I'm a little upset by this.

Okay, the wall climbing is pretty cool, but I'm not sure how I feel about this landscape. It looks a little too sci-fy for this movie.

I think that the twenty seconds of several scenes pieced together could have been explained a bit more. I would rather have more of that versus the recaps of the two prior movies.

The last scene doesn't give a lot to the plot either. I'm all for keeping some mystery to the movie, but I feel like this trailer didn't give the fans much either. It did more telling me of what happened before than what I'm hoping to see. Considering that this is the first teaser trailer and it being over a minute and a half long, I'm a little disappointed in the results. I'm hoping to see more for the full length trailer when it comes out.

Now, just as I'm finishing up this post, the new Mockingjay Part 2 trailer has come out. I'm hoping to also post that blog tonight, but it may not be until tomorrow. I'll be sure to post it on twitter if I happen to do it tonight!

Stories I Ate This Month: February 2018

Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm here to review all of the stories that I consumed this month. Yes, this post is over a month late, but I have plenty of excuses. One: I am exhausted. Two: being an intern is tough. Three: trying to live a normal life is much more difficult than I imagined. So, here I am. I'm late to the game. But I'm very excited to show you what I've read for the month. I hope you enjoy this post! The first two books that I finished this month are The Madness Underneath and The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson. These two books are the "final" books in the Shades of London series. I say "final" but there has been some speculation that the series has not yet been completed, which I tend to agree with. There are a lot of plot lines that haven't been concluded, and there's a new antagonist introduced in The Shadow Cabinet , and the book basically leaves off with a cliffhanger. Stories I Ate This Month: March 2018

So this month has been a bit of a bust. I haven’t read many book or watched that many movies, but the show must go on. Also, as a side note, I haven’t finished any season of any particular television shows this month, but I’ve started a few promising ones that will hopefully be completed in April. But anyway, here’s all the books and movies I’ve conquered this month. The first two books I read this month are The Hanging Tree and Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch. These books are the 5 th and 6 th book in his Peter Grant series which feature Detective, you guessed it, Peter Grant as he investigates criminal matters in London with a tendency for the supernatural. If you haven’t read my review about the other books of this series, I’ll reiterate. Ben Aaronovitch combines everything that I love within his novels, and does it in such a fashion that you can feel the commitment to his craft with every paragraph. His expertise with the London area and the unordinary is clearly visible
