City of Bones Merchandise Jace's Necklace: Cosplay Review!



Hello, everyone! So today I'm reviewing Jace's Necklace from the Mortal Instruments City of Bones the movie that you can find at your local Hot Topic (maybe). At first glace, I really liked this necklace. It's spot on from the movie, and you can tell from the picture on the back of the card that comes with it. I liked the pendent with the angelic rune and how they also added a little design to the back. I also like how they made the strength rune a part of the chain rather than another pendant. Now comes the bad part. Before I even had a chance to wear the necklace, it broke where the strength rune meets the rest of the chain. The link that held it together literally broke into five little pieces. I'll show pictures down below. For a necklace that's originally $14.50, the last thing you want is for it to break. I was determined not to throw it away. I was able to find some materials at Wal Mart to help repair it. That cost me another seven dollars. Luckily, I was able to get the necklace on clearance, but it still shouldn't have broken as easily as it did. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this at full price. Thankfully, they are on clearance in Hot Topics stores and are not available on the Hot Topic website. I saw that a few were selling them on amazon for fifty bucks, and I find that totally outrageous. Don't fall for that. Just go with out it, or try your hand at making one. Hello, my lovelies! As you've probably noticed, today's post is going to consist of the stories that I have consumed in the last two months as opposed to just last month. This is mostly because May was a world-wind for me, and I didn't really consume a lot of content. Stories I Ate This Month: February 2018

Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm here to review all of the stories that I consumed this month. Yes, this post is over a month late, but I have plenty of excuses. One: I am exhausted. Two: being an intern is tough. Three: trying to live a normal life is much more difficult than I imagined. So, here I am. I'm late to the game. But I'm very excited to show you what I've read for the month. I hope you enjoy this post! The first two books that I finished this month are The Madness Underneath and The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson. These two books are the "final" books in the Shades of London series. I say "final" but there has been some speculation that the series has not yet been completed, which I tend to agree with. There are a lot of plot lines that haven't been concluded, and there's a new antagonist introduced in The Shadow Cabinet , and the book basically leaves off with a cliffhanger. Stories I Ate This Month: March 2018

So this month has been a bit of a bust. I haven’t read many book or watched that many movies, but the show must go on. Also, as a side note, I haven’t finished any season of any particular television shows this month, but I’ve started a few promising ones that will hopefully be completed in April. But anyway, here’s all the books and movies I’ve conquered this month. The first two books I read this month are The Hanging Tree and Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch. These books are the 5 th and 6 th book in his Peter Grant series which feature Detective, you guessed it, Peter Grant as he investigates criminal matters in London with a tendency for the supernatural. If you haven’t read my review about the other books of this series, I’ll reiterate. Ben Aaronovitch combines everything that I love within his novels, and does it in such a fashion that you can feel the commitment to his craft with every paragraph. His expertise with the London area and the unordinary is clearly visible
