Update: Where I've Been and Where I'm Going

Hello, everyone! Sorry I've been so MIA lately. It's been a very busy few days, and I haven't had any time to post. I'm very sorry about that. I'm going to visit my sister in the morning, so I've been trying to pack and getting my affairs together before I go. Because of that, the blog as suffered for it. I'm getting everything together to post while I'm there though. So, I won't be missing for an entire week. If you follow me on twitter (click here to go to my twitter page), you can get up to date information about how regularly I'll blog while on this trip. I'll got a whole suitcase full of just cosplay stuff that I'm planning on showing you all and will be reviewing. I'll also get back to reading. The next series I'm going to start is the Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. So original, right? I promise to get off this Shadowhunter kick soon, but the movie is coming out in ten days. I'm going to be cosplaying and going to the midnight premiere. So understandably, I'm excited. I have a few ideas for other series after this one, and think everyone will really like it. Let's read this series together. So start with reading Clockwork Angel, and then we can converse about what we like or didn't like about it. I'm not super into historical fiction, but I figured since I've been loving Cassie's work, this book can get my foot in the door. Also, you may know that I went to Michael's City of Bones event which was so much fun. I'll be posting about that later. Again, I'm really sorry for the delay, but I'll get some content out here on regular basis this coming week. I'll see you guys next post!

Stories I Ate This Month: May and June 2018

Hello, my lovelies! As you've probably noticed, today's post is going to consist of the stories that I have consumed in the last two months as opposed to just last month. This is mostly because May was a world-wind for me, and I didn't really consume a lot of content. Stories I Ate This Month: February 2018

Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm here to review all of the stories that I consumed this month. Yes, this post is over a month late, but I have plenty of excuses. One: I am exhausted. Two: being an intern is tough. Three: trying to live a normal life is much more difficult than I imagined. So, here I am. I'm late to the game. But I'm very excited to show you what I've read for the month. I hope you enjoy this post! The first two books that I finished this month are The Madness Underneath and The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson. These two books are the "final" books in the Shades of London series. I say "final" but there has been some speculation that the series has not yet been completed, which I tend to agree with. There are a lot of plot lines that haven't been concluded, and there's a new antagonist introduced in The Shadow Cabinet , and the book basically leaves off with a cliffhanger. Stories I Ate This Month: March 2018

So this month has been a bit of a bust. I haven’t read many book or watched that many movies, but the show must go on. Also, as a side note, I haven’t finished any season of any particular television shows this month, but I’ve started a few promising ones that will hopefully be completed in April. But anyway, here’s all the books and movies I’ve conquered this month. The first two books I read this month are The Hanging Tree and Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch. These books are the 5 th and 6 th book in his Peter Grant series which feature Detective, you guessed it, Peter Grant as he investigates criminal matters in London with a tendency for the supernatural. If you haven’t read my review about the other books of this series, I’ll reiterate. Ben Aaronovitch combines everything that I love within his novels, and does it in such a fashion that you can feel the commitment to his craft with every paragraph. His expertise with the London area and the unordinary is clearly visible
