Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to do another list! So, you may have heard of The Hunger Games: The Exhibition. If you haven't, it's basically a mini-museum of props and costumes used in The Hunger Games movies in an interactive setting. There's been a lot of pictures of people at the exhibition in New York City, and I will admit that I'm super jealous. However, I just found out that there is an online website for the exhibition with really cool stuff. They can have all of my money, but I don't actually have any. Because of that, I'm making a list of the top five items that I want from the website. So, let's get onto the list! First things first. Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm going to doing a quick update just because my life is going to be a little hectic this coming week. There are a lot of things going on, and I'll just give a little recap. So I hope you feel a little included in my life. First things first. I have to give myself a little pat on the back for finishing my To Be Read list for September! Yay!!! I think this may be the first time that I've done this. I hope to do it again next month, and I'll be sure to put some goodies on the upcoming To Be Read list for October. Next, today is my father's birthday! This means that I got to travel for a really long time to spend a couple of days with my old man. I love him to death, and he's feeling a little sad that I have to go back soon. Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to review Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, the second novel of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children . This novel pics up right where MPHFPC left off. Jacob is stuck in the 1940s trying to help the children and Miss Peregrine find the only ymbryne that hasn't been taken by hollows. Their journey leads to many  peculiar locations including more time loops! But enough about that. Let's get onto the review! Let me just say that that this is a great follow up to MPHFPC. It expands peculiardom (which is what they call their world of peculiars), and it set ups some nice twists and turns that makes you say "Wow!" at the ending. The style of writing is fluid and appealing, and for once I don't have to deal with the dual perspective that everyone seems to be jumping on. If you don't know, I'm very happy with this series so far. This book expands peculiardom with new characters, stories, and time loops. On

Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to review Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials movie. This takes place immediately after the first movie after the kids escaped the maze. The people who rescued them give them a place to sleep, food to eat, and a way to send them somewhere safe. Or do they? But enough about that. Let's get onto the review! I will start by saying that the movie begins with a flashback to when Thomas was a little boy. I will make this easy. The kid that played Thomas was not very good, but he was only on screen for three minutes at the most. For that reason, I'll let it go. I liked all of the intense suspense building that the movie provides. I feel like I didn't have to wait very long before there was action and running. There was lots of running. Anyway, there were moments of complete creepy silence before something else popped out or people started firing guns and whatnot. The movie is a pretty cool action movie. I'll give it that. Ther

Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to review On the Road  by Jack Kerouac. The story takes place in the 40s and 50s and follows Sal Paradise who has a fascination with Dean Moriarty, a con man in search of something more. This search leads them across the country on strange and unique adventures. But enough about that. Let's get onto the review! So this novel was supposedly written all in a week and as much in one sitting as possible, and, to be honest, it feels like it. There's a lot of overly descriptive passages and a lot of jumping around. It felt a little scattered for me. For that reason, it was a little hard to get through. It also follow a "beat" philosophy. There's a constant search for something more. There's the idea that becoming "square" would be the death of you. Then there's the idea of mysticism and that there is something different and more meaningful out there if you keep moving and pushing yourself to exhaust

Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to do another trailer reaction! This one is the official trailer for Mockingjay Part 2. It's called "For Prim." Check it out down below, and see what I think about it! Let's get on to the reaction! It's interesting to see another trailer featuring footage from earlier movies. I like this one a little better because it feel more like a propaganda film than a recap of earlier videos. That's probably the only time I'm going to like propaganda. I'll admit it. I've got the volume turned up so loud that the music scared me a little. Sue me. I like how they are focusing on the relationship between the sisters. For once its not about the love triangle.  This cannot count as a trailer! I just finished watching the entire video, and while it did hit me hard in the feels, we only got to see one scene (which we've seen before) from the last film! I'm both angry and sad! Hello, everyone! I'm back and I'm here to react to the new Allegiant trailer! With the news of the name change for the last movie and the first trailer coming out, there has been a lot of buzz for Allegiant going around. Why not add to that with a little trailer reaction? Let's get to it! Alright, so the first part of the trailer is a recap for the first movie. I feel a little jipped, but I'll accept what's happening. Now I'm almost halfway through the trailer, and I haven't seen any new footage. I'm a little upset by this. Okay, the wall climbing is pretty cool, but I'm not sure how I feel about this landscape. It looks a little too sci-fy for this movie. I think that the twenty seconds of several scenes pieced together could have been explained a bit more. I would rather have more of that versus the recaps of the two prior movies. The last scene doesn't give a lot to the plot either. I'm all for keeping some mystery to the mo

Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to review Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. This story features Jacob Portman. After witnessing his grandfather's death in a strange animal attack, he goes on a quest to reveal his grandfather's past as well as decode his grandfather's final words. A collection of photographs and a mysterious letter lead Jacob to an island where things aren't what they seem. But enough about that. Let's get onto the review! Let me just say that this book has a peculiar aspect (see what I did there?) that sets it apart. The novel contains strange/disturbing pictures that tie into the novel. While I did enjoy this aspect, it doesn't necessarily translate well to the Kindle form, at least in the paperwhite version. I also couldn't read the pictures that contained text, which was a little disheartening. But as a whole, I really liked the pictures, except a couple I felt were a little forced into t

Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to review Off the Page by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer. It's the sequel/spin-off to Between the Lines . It takes place after Oliver escapes from the fairy tale to join Delilah in the "real" world and the mayhem that ensues. I  know you weren't expecting this, especially since I've been talking about finishing the book for months. However, I'm here, and I'm going to explain my thoughts on the novel. Enough about that. Let's get onto the review. Let me just say, yes, it was a bit difficult for me to get into the book. What I loved about the first book was the fairy tale, the life in the story . Since all of the people I liked were out of the story, it felt like the magic was taken out of it. Also, it felt like the first part of the story was filler. I didn't feel like it connected to the rest of the story, and it didn't help build up the conclusion.  There are two other parts, we

Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here with the first of my cosplay looks! Today I'm going to show you how to get the look of a Hogwarts student. Considering its September and witches and wizards have already made it to Hogwarts, why not celebrate with your own Hogwarts uniform? With Halloween coming up, you may even want to take your house uniform to a costume party. But enough with the intro. Let's get to the look! This is the full set of clothing that I use for the look. I got the sweater and the lanyard from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida.  I got the white button up and the tights from Kohls. The shoes are from DSW, and the skirt is from Belk. Most of these items can probably be found in stores near you or, better yet, your closet. Most of these items I've had for awhile. Hello, everyone! I'm back, and I'm here to list off some of my favorite Epic Reads infographics. Just in case you didn't know, Epic Reads is a YA community/blog created by Harper Collins, the publishing company that gave us series like Pretty Little Liars and Divergent. I will also say that I'm not sponsored by Epic Reads. I just find them awesome, and I wish to spread the awesomeness around. Infographics are exactly what they sound like. They're graphics/pictures that provide information in a fun and colorful way. Epic Reads has a pretty good collection of infographics. These just happen to be my top five. I feel like this might become a thing where I list off too many books, and at the end of the month, I find myself feeling a little disappointed in myself.
